Poland, Maine – A Rural Stronghold for Republican Values in Androscoggin County
Poland, a welcoming rural town in Androscoggin County with a population of approximately 6,000 residents (2025 estimate), is known for its scenic beauty, lakes (including Tripp Pond and Range Pond), and strong sense of community. Part of RSU 16 (serving Poland, Mechanic Falls, and Minot), Poland offers excellent schools, outdoor recreation at Range Ponds State Park, and a traditional Maine lifestyle centered on self-reliance and family—core Republican principles.
With an estimated 1,200–1,500 enrolled Republicans (based on county-wide trends and historical data), our bylaws allow for 6-9 full elected members plus up to 3 associate members from Poland. There is excellent potential to expand our local team and strengthen Republican representation in committee decisions and local issues.
