Auburn, Maine – The County Seat and a Hub for Republican Growth in Androscoggin County

Auburn, the county seat and Maine's fifth-largest city with a population of approximately 25,000 residents, is divided into five wards for local elections and representation. As a vibrant community with a mix of historic neighborhoods, modern amenities, and access to the Androscoggin River, Auburn is home to strong schools, businesses, and families who value fiscal responsibility, public safety, and economic opportunity—core Republican principles.

The Auburn Republican City Committee is actively working to build Republican strength in Auburn.

With an estimated 4,000–5,000 enrolled Republicans, our bylaws allow for up to 5 associate members from Auburn (cities over 20,000 population get up to 5 associates). There is significant room to expand our team and mobilize voters across all five wards.
