Lisbon, Maine – A Growing Opportunity for Republican Engagement in Androscoggin County
Lisbon, a vibrant town in Androscoggin County with a population of approximately 9,800 residents (2025 estimate), combines historic charm with modern growth. Home to the independent Lisbon School Department (serving local students from pre-K through high school), Lisbon features strong community ties, outdoor recreation along the Androscoggin and Sabattus Rivers, and a commitment to family values and local enterprise—principles that resonate deeply with Maine Republicans.
With an estimated 1,500–2,000 enrolled Republicans (based on county-wide trends and historical enrollment data), our bylaws allow for 6-9 full elected members plus up to 3 associate members from Lisbon. There is substantial room to expand our local team and amplify conservative voices on issues like education, public safety, and economic opportunity.
We invite Lisbon Republicans to step up and help us recruit, train, elect, and support candidates who put our town first.
